Philadelphia-Whitemarsh Rugby Club opens its fall schedule on Saturday, Sept. 16, with an A side match against Brandywine Rugby Club at Memorial Hall field (Belmont and Concourse Aves. in Fairmount Park) at 2 p.m. After a good soaking Thursday and Friday and more rain scheduled for Saturday, this promises to be a miserable day for players and spectators alike. All the better to come out and support you local mad men.

A second match between the Philly-Whitemarsh B side and Widener Law School RFC will follow. After party at Tir Na Nog Irish pub at 15th and Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
